A grand prize package was awarded to the best overall band, which included free recording time at Ambush Recording in Northfield. The grand prize package also included gear from Parker and Washburn guitars, Eden amplifiers, Yamaha and Sabian drum equipment, Shure microphones, Evans drum heads and Mackie Onyx 1620 Mixer



How it worked
Friday nights from June 10th through August 19th, 2005, four different bands took the stage to perform their best 20 minute set. One band was chosen from each Friday night to advance to the semifinal round. The winning band each Friday night was chosen by audience ballot

Gand Music & Sound provided all of the necessary backline gear for the bands on our 8' x 16' stage including Fender and Marshall guitar and bass amplifiers and Yamaha 5 piece drum kit with Sabian Cymbals. Lighting, sound system, and floor monitors were provided including a sixteen input mixing console, active powered speakers for mains and monitors, and Shure microphones.
