Kevin Mitchell - Guitar

Learn to play now! A graduate of University of Illinois, Kevin offers lessons to students ages 8 and up. He is fluent in all styles and specializes in 50's rock, blues and classic rock artists. Kevin currently performs with Kevin Mitchell and the Rainmen. Kevin is also a group instructor at our summer Camp Rock-U |
Christian Eck - Guitar, Bass, Drums, Banjo, Keyboards

Christian spent 4 years touring, performing, and composing with the U. of Dayton Jazz Ensemble. An experienced guitarist, bassist, and drummer, he has a deep knowledge of groove and enthusiastically shares it with students of all ages and ability levels. Christian also plays and teaches keyboards and banjo. Christian is a group instructor at our summer Camp Rock-U. |
Nic Barnum - Guitar

Nic has been playing guitar for 10 years and bass for 6 years. He is fluent in a variety of musical genres including rock, folk, funk, blues, jazz, pop and more. Graduated in '06 from Columbia College with a bachelors degree in audio arts and acoustics. |
Dave Brandwein - Drums
|
After graduating from the University of Illinois with a jazz studies degree, Dave played drums on vocalist Sharon Cho’s debut album, Love Accompanist. He has also played with many other Chicago musicians such as: the GB Duo, members of ZMICK, guitarist Tim Burns, and many others. Furthermore, Dave has experience playing in the pit for theatrical productions of: Wizard of Oz, Cinderella, Singing in the Rain, and more. Currently, Dave is the drummer for the several Chicago bands, including David Paige and the Skyline, and singer/songwriter Meagan Hickman, and his own trio. |
Mike Archer - Voice

Singer/pianist Mick Archer teaches voice lessons at Gand Music. He excels as a teacher and accompanist, and brings over 30 years of professional experience to the job of training singers to reach their full potential as artists and professionals. Classically trained (American Conservatory, University Of Illinois,B.A.) Mick Archer has established an international career (has performed in 9 countries, including three months as pianist -in-residence at The Tokyo Westin) that encompasses blues, jazz, rock,Celtic, country and folk music as a pianist,singer,guitarist,songwriter, band leader and teacher. He's also had a distinguished career as a teacher at The Old Town School Of Folk Music,City Colleges Of Chicago, and at The Fine Arts Building in Chicago's South Loop. |
